Houston Astros outfielder and designated hitter Yordan Alvarez left the overall game contrary to the Atlanta Braves early Friday night in a scary situation.

Houston Astros outfielder and designated hitter Yordan Alvarez left Friday nights game contrary to the Atlant Braves early and was taken up to a healthcare facility in a scary situation. Alvarez reportedly felt ill on the field.

In accordance with Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle, Alvarez experienced shortness of breath.

Yordan Alvarez experienced shortness of breath and pulled himself from the overall game, Dusty Baker said. Baker said Alvarezs vital signs are normal and he could be feeling good, but being tested at the ER at this time.

Alvarezs vitals were reportedly normal, and hes being tested at the ER.

The 25-year-old slugger has continuously been a powerhouse for Houston in the last couple of years, and his sudden illness is obviously concerning.

Alvarez has already established an excellent season up to now. Hes hit .295/.400/.612 for an OPS of just one 1.012. He began his MLB career in 2019 with Houston and immediately had a breakout. In his first season, he hit .313/.412/.655 for an OPS of just one 1.067.

Hes undoubtedly the very best hitter in Houston. Ahead of his exit on Friday night in two at-bats, he was a non-factor with two strikeouts. Luckily, he took the required actions of putting his health first. Completely health, hes a hitter to be feared.

He also provides Astros lineup lots of potential. Despite rendering it to the planet Series last season and having a 100 percent potential for rendering it to the playoffs this year (in accordance with FanGraphs), the lineup is average overall.

Among all MLB teams, the Astros have the 13th-best batting average (.246) and ninth-best on-base percentage (.320). They do, however, have adequate power in the lineup. They will have the fifth-best slugging percentage (.428) and OPS (.747). Alvarez is really a major contributor compared to that.

Hopefully, Alvarez will go back to full health quickly and safely.
